Pelvic
Health
Our Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, Aimee and Hayley offer a multi-faceted approach designed to improve patients’ access to care from the comfort of their own home. Assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor can have a significant impact on ones quality of life as proper function is essential for good bladder, bowel and sexual function. We aim to create a care plan tailored to your individual needs.
An assessment with a pelvic health physiotherapist would be beneficial for any pregnant or post-natal clients, as well as anyone with the following conditions: diastasis rectus abdominis (DRA), incontinence, overactive bladder (frequency or urgency), pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, pain with intercourse, and pelvic/low back pain including the pubic symphysis and SI joints.
Our practitioners also help you prepare for labour and delivery – an appointment in the 32-34 week mark of pregnancy is beneficial to discuss strategies to optimize your labour and delivery experience.
